Neri García | author + illustrator
I was once asked about my writing routine, and I was perplexed. I had never considered myself a writer. I’m more of a visual artist—I paint, I draw, I design—but I also tell myself stories. These stories, at times, evolve into books. I suppose I’m a circumstantial writer; my stories are deeply personal. They serve as the means through which I navigate and make sense of the difficult chapters in my life. They are the threads of love that guide me, helping me transform in the process.

Through these stories, I’ve come to understand the power of love—its infinite presence and the strength it brings. They’ve allowed me to explain to my son, with compassion and acceptance, the reasons for his dad and me separating—without blame, only love. When I faced an immense loss and my heart was shattered, I rebuilt it, illustration by illustration. Uncertain of where the journey would lead, I ultimately discovered that love is unbreakable. It binds us to those we deeply love across time and space; change does not signify an end.

I’ve learned about the power of imagination, faith, love, and, most of all, hope. Hope is what drove me to share these stories—to offer them to others who might be searching for a different way to understand and navigate difficult times in life.

Yoliia is where I can share these stories, from my heart to yours. May they bring you peace, love, and hope.
Lorenza Rodriguez | Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern | Child & Teen Specialist
Lorenza Rodriguez is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who specializes in supporting children and teens (ages 6 and up) through grief, trauma, loss, and life’s most challenging transitions. As part of the team, Lorenza brings her clinical background to help ensure that the stories and characters we create are not only heartfelt—but also grounded in research-backed therapeutic principles.
She is passionate about the power of stories—both those we read and those we tell—to help children make sense of their experiences. Studies show that reading stories about emotions and hardship, especially ones featuring relatable characters, can help children better understand and regulate their own feelings.
For Lorenza, it’s about more than just clinical insight—it’s about meeting children where they are, with tools that feel safe, familiar, and empowering. She believes every child deserves to feel understood and supported, and that even small things such as a story and a stuffed animal, a moment of connection—can help light the way through difficult times.

Jenny Moreno | Social Communicator & Certified Child and Teen Coach | Emotional Intelligence Specialist
I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, where my passion for understanding people and their emotions began to take shape early in life. I studied Social Communication, a field that allowed me to explore the power of stories, empathy, and connection. Over time, I realized that the most meaningful stories are not only the ones we tell others, but the ones we tell ourselves—especially during childhood and adolescence, when our emotional world is still being shaped.
Becoming a mother was the turning point that guided me toward a deeper purpose. My son became my greatest teacher and inspiration, showing me how essential emotional awareness and understanding are for a child’s growth and well-being. This personal journey led me to study coaching for children and teenagers, specializing in emotional intelligence—a path that combines science, creativity, and compassion.
Today, I dedicate my work to helping children and families cultivate resilience, self-esteem, and emotional balance. Through coaching, storytelling, and creative tools, I empower young people to navigate challenges with hope and imagination. My mission is to create spaces where children feel seen, heard, and capable of transforming their emotions into strength and confidence for life.
